Pharaoh's Legacy (C64)
A downloadable game
You have become the ruler of Egypt, and from the very beginning, all your actions are directed towards your most important goal: to become immortal and ascend to the gods. For this, you need a proper pyramid and your name inscribed on as many relics as possible.
About
Pharaoh's Legacy is the sequel to Rise of Babylon. Once again, the goal is to utilize limited space to build the most efficient city possible. However, this time there are even more building options available and additional aspects included, such as constructing a pyramid and building a legacy. Furthermore, the game now features a multiplayer mode for up to four players.
Requirements
This game was created for the Commodore 64. It can be played on real hardware or in a C64 emulator like Vice. The complete game is controlled with a joystick.
The game is compatible with both PAL and NTSC.
The game includes German, English, and Polish language versions.
Where to get it?
You can download a digital version of the game, either as single .prg file or as disk image (.d64), as well as an English or German manual here for free (see downloads below).

Nice strategy game and a great sequel to the original, provided you put in the necessary time. Our German-language review can be found at 01:58:34. English subtitles are also available. Subscription to our YouTube and Twitch channel is welcome. 🙂
Thanks for trying it out :-)
Excellent new strategy game, would be fun with multiple players, must try it sometime. I added it to my video along with other games released in May.
Thank you very much—a great compilation, as always :-)
Are any of your strategy titles playable with the 1351 mouse by chance?
No. So far, all games are playable exclusively with a joystick.
Looks awesome! Apart form instantly recognizable "AI" cover... Pharaohs were not black, so... maybe out of respect for real Egyptians you could re-generate it? OR not, you do you. Game itself looks fantastic.
Wikipedia disagrees with you: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taharqa
Well yeah, but by the time Taharqa ruled, Egypt had stopped building pyramids for nearly a THOUSAND years. They tried to revive that tradition in Nubia - Where is Taharqa's pyramid btw. But Nubia is another country entirely. Dont get me wrong - game looks fantastic. Congrats. Just the cover looks... inadequate. Nubian pyramids looked different too. No reason to use slop if your art looks great. In any case - this isnt documentary after all but fun game. Sorry to get into so many details.
Nice one mate, I saw this last night :p But only just got back!
Thanks! That was on very short notice. Nevertheless, thank you very much for the article :-)
You're welcome matey!
Another classic strategy release! Awesome! Once again, I've posted its released on Lemon64:

Thanks for sharing the news :-)
A good sequel to the excellent "Rise of Babylon". Its ergonomics is good as it is the same of Rise.
For the first try, I got 7635 people, 301 for Legacy and 2.5 for the pyramid. I made the mistake to use my uncle for managing the money, and got a -100 money entry on every turn... But the other option is not really better :(
Do I have to add that I'll buy the floppy disk version? Once again, a great game by Windigo Production.
Thanks! The uncle is rather incompetent :-D
But the civilian leads to a rocketing unrest rate... Which blocks the population growth. Ouch!
very good
Thanks :-)
Awesome game!
Thanks for the video :-)
