Fantastic, right up my alley. Was looking for post-apocalyptic desert survival and here it is. Just ordered the Collector's Edition boxed with ... cartridge~! Best part about it is the aesthetic - it doesn't do that "modern retro" look - feels like a late-era released C64 title.
Nice graphics and decent music. Sadly the game genre isn't to my liking but it was worth checking out. Still a very good effort, and I am sure many other gamers will probably enjoy your game. :)
The game might be ok/good, but the propaganda behind it is not - "global warming" is a socialist fairy tale, it does not exist. ignoring this game as propaganda has no place on the c64. think about what you play people. think!

Who knows why the "global warming" happened, could be the result of a crazy billionaire Gil Bates seeding the atmosphere with particles to reflect the sun gone wrong ... Or solar flares burning away the atmosphere, etc.
Awesome new RTS game! Just what the C64 needs. Almost unbelievable that you packed such nuanced gameplay (exploration, resource management, fortification, battles) in just one PRG! I recorded some footage from real C64 hardware:

It's just a game in a completely fictional setting. Nothing else.
