Windingo, I just want to say I LOVE your games and I'm super excited every time a new one comes out. I appreciate the fact that you don't need a keyboard, meaning I can enjoy C64 glory on my retro handheld. Still stuck on mars.. can't wait to try this one.
Really good strategy game! I enjoyed playing it. I also featured it in my video together with other C64 games released in July. Thanks for making and sharing it!
A nice strategy game that initially feels a bit like a sequel to "North & South," though without the action sequences. Our German-language review can be found at 02:08:51. English subtitles are also available. Subscription to our YouTube and Twitch channel is welcome. 🙂
are you a one-man army , windigo ? you certainly have been productive in the last few years, and no actual crap either lol, most of them seem to have been well thought-over, if not all, actually Cronos was my G.O.T.Y. that year in retroland, it reminded me SO much of shadow of the emperor ("battle isle 3") and the decision tree you use for the a.i. seems so good.
The main crowd, like RGN-people like shiney platformers but you have put up a line for a genre that was direly missing in the 80s id say ...
Thank you very much for your kind words; I’m really pleased to hear that. In fact, "Battle for Cronos" - as the name suggests - is inspired by the "Battle Isle Data Disk II: Moon of Chromos". I’ve probably mentioned that somewhere before. If anything reminds you of BI3 it may be the music ;-)
i dont think i ever played the first BI but shadow of the emperor is probably my all-time favourite in the genre, followed up by SSI whole general series. At any rate youve been doing quite a lot of nice stuff
I really appreciate that you’d be willing to pay for the games, but that’s not what it’s about for us (and I think I can speak for everyone involved) . If we wanted to make money, we wouldn’t be developing niche games for a retro platform. We make these games so that people play them. So have fun with them and feel free to give us feedback—that’s worth more to us than money :-)

Many thanks for the kind words! We’re really happy that you enjoy the games. Watch out for the sandstorms during your stay on Mars ;-)

You should change your games to "Name your own price"!
No thanks :-)
I agree! You are doing quality work here, and some of us would surely like to show our appreciation in monetary terms as well.

It would not be about making money. It would be to let others appreciate you for your work. You wouldn't get rich from "Name your own price"...
But a free beer or ice cream now and then would be nice, wouldn't it?
Very nice game!
Thanks a lot for the video. It was a close match ;-)
ooooh tactical! :D I'll write it up soon, just cooling off :D
Very nice article. Thank you very much!
Thanks man!! I would've struggled without the fan blowing on full pelt :D
